Meet Mrs. Hinshaw
I have been with the Nampa school district for 15 years. In that 15 years, I've taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades. I was also an instructional coach for 9 years and even the principal at Sherman. I have a bachelor's degree in Social Work, a master's degree in teaching, and a master's degree in school administration.
When it comes down to it, I can’t deny that my strength is working with children and I am so excited for this year!
Grading
Students are rated on a 4-point scale, with a 3 meaning that your student is on grade level. 4's are used to indicate when a student is demonstrating skill beyond 4th grade.
