Meet Miss Duerksen
Hi parents!
I’m Miss Duerksen, a kindergarten teacher here at Park
Ridge, in my second year. I love the Kinder grade level and
will do my best to make certain your child is ready for first
grade.
I played soccer from the age of 4 and continued my
amateur sports at the collegiate level at Metropolitan State
University of Denver where I received my BA degree in
Elementary Education.
I’ve got family here in Nampa, especially my nephew
Andrew who just turned one. I enjoy my time with family
on the pickle ball court, fishing, bike riding, hiking—just to
name a few. I enjoy CrossFit, making certain I get to the
gym every day before school. Let’s make our year a
successful one by supporting one another.
